The Hideaway Cabin was built by Zac from the ground up, beginning in 2023, with a clear intention: to create a place where his family could slow down, reconnect, and make memories to last a lifetime. What started as a dream project quickly became a true labor of love. Along the way, Zac faced unexpected building challenges with the tragic flooding in Ludlow as well as serious health complications, making the journey far from easy. But through it all, the vision never changed.
This cabin was never meant to be just a place to stay — it was built to be a space for presence, healing, laughter, and togetherness.
Family was part of the process from day one. Weekends were spent building, learning, and problem-solving together, with plenty of helping hands along the way. The most important of those hands belonged to Zac’s son, Greyson — proudly self-appointed “head kid in charge” at just 10 years old. From small tasks to big encouragement, Greyson’s involvement turned the build into something even more meaningful.
Today, The Hideaway represents more than craftsmanship — it represents resilience, love, and the joy that comes from time spent together. After experiencing firsthand how powerful that time can be, Zac is excited to open the doors and share this space with others, so they too can experience the happiness, peace, and connection that The Hideaway has given his family.
